The Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique of the University of Bordeaux conducts research on various topics, among which formal methods for modelling and verification based on logics, graphs, and languages.

University of Luxembourg specifically collaborate with prof. François Pellegrini about dissemination activities in the field of Legal Informatics, aiming at creating lasting bridges between the legal and digital communities. Prof. François Pellegrini has a long-standing expertise in Data Protection in that he has been appointed as commissaire à la Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).

Furthermore, he is the founder of the Convergences of Law and Digital initiative, which consists of two events, separated by a period of collaborative work. The winter Convergences workshop allows people to present individual contributions, identify work topics and create pairs. On the other hand, during the autumn Convergences conference pairs present their joint work, with the constraint that computer scientists must speak about legal issues while lawyers about digital issues.
