Universitad Nacional de La Plata, in particular prof. Clara Smith started collaborating with the University of Luxembourg in the context of the H2020 project MIREL, bringing his expertise in computer science, mathematics, and linguistics applied to the legal domain.

Researchers at the Universitad Nacional de La Plata combine computer science background, mathematical expertise in logic and solid experience in high-level government administration and legislation towards the development of multi-agent systems for the legal domain and the design of normative ontologies.

They have conducted joint research with researchers at the University of Luxembourg, specifically devoted to the role of legal interpretation of norms, and the development of concrete computational systems able to track legal interpretation of norms over time.
